Marvel’s The Avengers: 2012

When I first saw this movie in cinema, I loved it. Seen my favorite superheroes fighting along side each other was fascinating to watch. The movie was directed by Joss Whedon. All the superheroes in the movie are all unique in their own way. Iron Man played by Robert Downey Jr. was a former arms dealer, now turned superhero. With his suits, no one can stop him. Captain America, played by Chris Evans was once a scrawny kid but after an experiment turns into a tall and muscular man. He enhances incredible strength and is very useful with a shield. Hulk, played by Mark Ruffalo, was a scientist but after injecting himself with a toxin, he turns into a humongous green giant whenever he gets angry. Thor, played by Chris Hemsworth, is a king from another world called Asgard. His weapon is a Hammer and only he can lift it. Hawkeye, played by Jeremy Renner, is technically gifted with a bow, He can a hit a target of any kind. Black Widow, played by Scarlett Johansson, is an expert at martial arts and is very handy with weapons. The movie involves Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, Thor, Hawkeye and Black Widow, who are assembled by Nick Fury, played by Samuel L. Jackson. Nick is in charge of a organisation called S.H.I.E.L.D. He assembles them as earth is under attack by Loki, played by Tom Hiddleston. Loki is in possession of a device called the Tesseract. It is a cube which contains a pulse of energy that can be used to open another universe. By using it, Loki will be able to bring his army through. That’s were the avengers come in. In order to defeat Loki, they must be able to put there differences aside and work together. First off, the story line was well written. In these types of movies, there has to be a threat, has to have heroes involved and of course a villain. To be able to have a viewers attention for a long period of time, the CGI has to be well constructed, otherwise not many people would have an interest in watching these movies. The fight scenes were well made especially the fight in lower Manhattan. The cast was well picked. Each of them were humorous in their own way. I would give it a rating of 3.5/5 as it was enjoyable, had a satisfying ending and the characters were dynamic.
